Aims:

To assist the Management team in achieving and maintaining the required legislative Health & Safety standards.

To assist in designing in-house team fire risk assessment and Health & Safety policies.

To promote a high level of hazard awareness and risk control in the workplace and therefore protect the workforce from hazards associated with the workplace.

Outcomes:

As a result of P-tek's recommendations, The Britten pears Foundation has successfully achieved improvements in many of the fundamental areas listed by the Health & Safety Executive as ‘essential for the development and maintenance of a robust health and safety management system.’

The initial assessment resulted in a score of only 24%.

This rose to 39% only 2 months after the risk assessment program was implemented.

8 Months after implementation this rose again, to 48% - almost doubling the initial assessment score.

The solutions implemented also enabled an in-house team to effectively maintain the achieved standards over time.
